Remarks:  Cryptocoryne wendtii "Tropica" is a variant of the ever popular Cryptocoryne wendtii. There is great variation in the colors that this plant can display, sometimes being mostly green, sometimes red, and even in rare cases, pink like the flamingo variant. Some do note that it tends to display a more obvious pattern of stripes or spots on its leaves compared to other variants. A lot of how this plant will appear depends on the conditions it is kept in, especially in regards to quality of light and substrate. 

  Cryptocoryne wendtii is a beautiful low to medium light plant. This is a great mid-ground plant which should do well in any planted aquarium. It is relatively undemanding if left alone and will grow into a nice clump and a max size of around 8".
