Remarks:  Blueberry OB Fryeri are a hybrid man-made strain likely produced by crossing Sciaenochromis fryeri and OB peacocks then line-breeding the offspring. The result is a fish with absolutely striking colors and the elongated body shape of the Sciaenochromis fryeri. A majority of the males have platinum or light pink bodies covered in electric blue blotches. As blueberry OB Fryeri are hybrids, there tends to be lots of variation between each fish with some also displaying yellow and orange colors. Females and juveniles are usually devoid of color, being mostly gray or brown.
