Remarks: Wolverine Plecos (Hopliancistrus sp.) hail from the Amazon and Xingu River basins. They will appreciate both rock and wood structures in captivity to mimic their natural home. They also appreciate slightly warmer water, as do most species from this particular region. This is a great choice for a community aquarium as it doesn't get too large (5") and is also known to be one of the less shy Plecos.
